Punk emerged in the middle 1970s in London as aggressive movement. Around 200 teenagers defined themselves as an anti-fashion urban youth street culture and it was a music movement that took the name punk. Anti Fashion – Torn Fashion becomes Punk Fashion.
70s Punk style has some elements.
- Ripped or Cut
Teenagers
bought a lot of clothes, shirts, pants and suit jackets and they ripped
them and frayed them. They thought this is punk style in their mind.

- T-Shirts with a message

In
the early days of punk, most people made their own style T-shirts and
they show some messages on the T-shirt. They want to let the other
people what they thought and felt.
- Skinny Pants
Punks always wore skinny pants. Much like the modern-day trend of skinny jeans for men, punks wore skin-tight pants.

- Leather and Metal
The
black leather is main material in 70s punk movement. Punk men and women
wore heavy black combat boots with any outfit as well as bracelets and
dog collar necklaces made of black leather and silver metal spikes.
